Flor de Iris is situated in a tranquil cul de sac in the quiet residential district of Las Repaces on the outskirts of La Barossa. A small holiday resort, comprising mainly low rise apartments and villas set among the shady native pine trees, La Barossa lies about 8 kms from the old Andalucian market town of Chiclana.

La Barossa has sandy beaches, a seafront promenade lined with lively bars and restaurants and a main street with shops and services. All are within 5 minutes drive of the villa or are easily reached by bus or bicycle.

There is also a parade of shops, bars and restaurants, and a local club/disco at Los Gallos, only five minutes walk from the villa.

Chiclana de la Frontera is a pleasant traditional town with a variety of shops, bazaars, services, covered markets and restaurants as well as sherry bodegas. There is a large Hypersol Supermarket on the outskirts of the town.
